I LOVE this, not only does it do exactly what it is meant to, it's beautifully pink too :) My cupcakes and sponges are so much flufflier and everything I have tried turned out well. I am looking forward to buying other attachements - like the pasta one! Knowing a donation to a fabulous cause was part of the price made it very worthwhile...Think Pink :)x

After several failed attempts to purchase a "pink" Kitchen Aid Mixer from local stores, (In Arizona and Wisconsin)I had given up the idea.
Then a couple days prior to Thanksgiving 2009, I heard about amazon.com and checked to see if they had one in Pink, before i purchased one
in a differant color from a local store. I was surprised, they had it, and not only did they have it, amazon was offering free shipping and Kitchen Aid was giving a percentage of the sale to the Komen Foundation to fight Breast cancer.
I ordered it, and it arrived by UPS three days later.
We double checked to make sure Kitchen aid was donating to the fight against Breast Cancer.
So, we give 5 stars to Kitchen aid, and amazon both for product quality, ease of ordering on line, the active participation in the fight against Breast Cancer, and speedy shipping.
The best part of it all, it was close to a $100.00 cheaper than purchasing one at a local store. and it was delievered right to my door.

I have wanted one of these mixers since I got married, 6.5 years ago. They always seemed a bit too expensive, I was afraid I wouldn't use it enough to be worth the investment, and there were/are so many choices that I couldn't figure out which mixer was the best deal.
Well, I finally bought one, this one, this KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart stand mixer, in pink, since they donated $50 to cancer research when I registered my product.
I am thrilled. Absolutely thrilled. The only thing I am disappointed in is myself, for not spurging sooner. I've had mine for about a month, and I've used it more than a dozen times, to make homemade bread (using the recipes that came with the mixer, which I am very pleased with so far), for boxed and homemade cake mixes, making whipped potatoes for my sister after she had her wisdom teeth out... and I am impressed.
Whether you cook a little or a lot, I think this is a great purchase. It is easy to use, easy to clean and mixes things much better than I ever did before.

My wife loves this thing, not only the fact it's pink but it does everything it's supposed to and very well, easy to use, seems like it will run forever.
