Would give it four stars if it weren't for assembly.Jun 15, 2009 This fan would be easy to put together, should take less than 10 minutes. It's sturdy, great color, and cute. There are 5 screws. you must unscrew them from the fan in order to assemble it, then re-screw them back in. The problem? 1 of the screws was too tight, in for keeps. It got stripped in the process of getting it out. I couldn't even do it, and had to have someone use their screw drill on it. What would have taken 10 minutes, got post-poned a day, until I could get a new screw in there. It was annoying.

The quality of this fan is the best I've seen and it is super quiet and moves the air!! I highly recommend it. ExcellentJul 29, 2008 I bought this in pink and while it looks nice, I'm not sure about the quality. It's heavy and there are a lot of screws. It's not hard to put together, just a little tedious. It's making a funny noises and I'm ont sure if the blades are loose or it's the motor. Right now it's just decoration since I haven't pulled it apart to investigate the noise. Not sure if it was worth it.
Revised: Turns out I put it together wrong which is why it was making funny noises. I didn't get the screw right on the flat part of the rotor. After an adjustment it works perfectly. Still could use some design improvements - the band that holds the two grills in place is tricky - the screw and nut flew across the room while I was trying to take it apart. I would give it 5 stars for appearance and 3.5 stars for assembly/craftmanship. I recommend it.
